Please see below a list of our current services.  We are in a process of transition and will be developing more services to enable carers to build resilience and be better equipped to undertake their caring role:

E-Newsletter
We will email a regular e-newsletter to our carers and supporters to inform you about courses, events, workshops and developments that you may be interested in.  Our Facebook and Twitter accounts together with our website will also be updated regularly.

Carers Cafe
An informal drop-in coffee morning to meet other carers in a friendly atmosphere. The Café is held on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 10 - 12 noon at Carers Bromley.  All welcome.

Carers groups across the borough up until November 2017
Our Carer Support Groups offer a safe, confidential space to meet with other carers and are facilitated by trained staff. Support groups can help you to: cope with caring responsibilities; receive emotional, social and information support, if needed; meet, discuss and learn from other carers in similar situations; alleviate some of the isolation felt by many carers; and enable carers to have an opportunity to support each other. Please contact us for venue details and dates.

The sessions are carried out by qualified therapists in either Beckenham or Orpington.

Carers Choir
Carers Bromley carers choir, Carers in Harmony, can be a great way to relax, relieve stress, make new friends, but above all, to just have fun. It is not about experience or ability; so please come along, you may surprise yourself. You don’t have to commit to attend every week and are welcome to drop by when you can.
The choir meets every Monday morning (term time only) from 10 – 12 noon in Bromley.

Yoga
Dharma Yoga – Each class consists of physical practice, deep relaxation, breathing exercises and a short, guided meditation allowing you to leave the session feeling relaxed and with a different approach and with techniques for dealing with the stresses faced in your everyday life. It offers you the time and space to connect with yourself, be yourself and appreciate yourself.
The class is held in West Wickham on Tuesdays at 11 am. The session lasts approximately 70 minutes.

Craft Group
A support group where the focus is on arts and crafts as well as offering support to each other in a friendly atmosphere.
The group meets at Carers Bromley on the 1st Wednesday of the month from 1.30 -3.30 pm.

Walking Group
Fancy a walk but don’t want to go alone? Join our free walking group which meets on the 4th Thursday of the month at various places across the borough. The walks are escorted and range from 2 to 5 miles.  View the next walk information sheet here.
