Royal Visit to Carers Bromley

A royal visit to Carers Bromley by HRH The Princess Royal took place on 6th October and was attended by the Board of Trustees, staff, dignitaries including the Mayor of Bromley, Cllr David McBride and Jo Johnson MP and 60 carers including 10 young carers.  Carers names were placed in a hat and drawn randomly. 

Pupils from the local school, Holy Innocents Catholic Primary waved to the Princess on arrival and departure and chatted with the Mayor and Jo Johnson MP.  The event was a success with excellent feedback from attendees.  The princess spoke to everyone present, unveiled a commemorative plaque and received a posy from a young carer.  An official photographer was present during the visit together with the media outside.  Photos of the event may be viewed and ordered, if required, on this link  http://www.paulbrockphotography.co.uk/Events/Princes-Royal-visit/19453742_VH7Dfw#1522122248_qpQhk9j
