Carers Lunch

A very enjoyable Christmas lunch for carers took place on 7th December at the Ripley Arts Centre. 60 carers attended and were served a freshly prepared meal of roast turkey and seasonal vegetables and the dessert was accompanied by singing from the Breaside School and Scotts Park School Choirs.  

To add to the festivities there was also a raffle and three prizes given to carers attending the lunch.
A carer remarked that they’d had a difficult year, but that the opportunity to get out and socialise had really lifted their spirits and made a difference.
