Benefits Information for Carers

 The benefit system is complicated and finding out what you are entitled to can often prove to be both difficult and confusing. 

Every year millions of pounds of carers’ benefits are unclaimed. Make sure the person you look after isn’t missing out on any of their entitlements – as many carers pay out of their own pockets to pay their relatives’ basic bills.

To help carers find out what they can claim (particularly focusing on Carers Allowance, Carers Credit and background information on Attendance Allowance and Disability Living Allowance), Carers Bromley has arranged for a representative from the Department for Work and Pensions, to attend an information session for carers on Thursday 10th May 2012.
