Carers Support Advisers are available to help carers by providing emotional support, advocacy, information and advice about local and national services and facilities, benefits and financial help and lots more. We can help carers with writing letters and filling in forms.
Carers Breaks, Sitting Service and Stressbusting
There are a number of services available to carers providing you with breaks from care, a sitting service or you could try out one of the subsidised stressbusting treatments available to you......
New Sitters/Companions List
Do you look after someone? Do you need time to go shopping, have your hair done, or to simply have a break – and have peace of mind that the person you care for is being safely looked after at home?

Telephone Check-in Line

This is a supportive and reassuring free service for carers who look after someone, who would be unable to summon help should their primary carer be taken ill.

Carers Card
If you have an accident away from home a Carers Card will alert the emergency services that you look after someone who depends on you...
EPAL Service
We have an EPAL Service for carers within the borough who use a computer at home and would like to correspond with other carers by email.
