Carers Support Workers

Carers Support Workers provide advice and support to carers on a one-to-one basis by phone and/or visits and also run local support groups for carers.  They liaise with Social Services & Housing, the NHS, the independent sector and other local voluntary organisations in order to provide the best possible help to carers in their area.

Provides support, information and training to carers caring for someone who has a mental health issue and advice and training to professionals.

Ensures that carers from minority groups are able to access our services, this includes Black and Asian minority ethnic carers, Gay and Lesbian carers, carers who consider their religion affects their ability to access services, carers who have or who care for someone with HIV/AIDS or Young Adult carers 16 - 25 years.
